This gallery is a curation of images left to me by my Great Grand Father. He worked for the state department and photographed these images during the cold war with Russia. Throughout the cold war, very few Americans were allowed into Russia, making his photographs even more astounding. This is a rare glimpse into post-WW2 Russia at the height of the Soviet Union's power.
